One of today's problems in packaging is that of supplying returnable units, or to face re-cycling.
To have any hope of meeting the new European requirements, packaging must be capable of easy re-cycling as returnability is often out of the question.
Very few materials can compete with plastic's ability to re-cycle many times with no dangerous or toxic by-products, and of all the plastics, polypropylene must have the "cleanest" life cycle analysis.
HYDROFLUTE is manufactured from polypropylene and because it can be formed, joined and decorated without any other diverse components, packaging made from HYDROFLUTE has not only the obvious advantages of wet strength, food contact comparability and corrosion resistance to a wide range of chemicals, it is the front runner for re-cycling, again and again!
